Community Engagement and Support Initiatives

Engaging the Community: School Outreach Initiatives

To connect with the community, our office visits many local schools to educate on proper home care practices and introduce children to what to expect when visiting a dentist. Our hygienists visit each classroom and host an interactive presentation to engage the class and review brushing, flossing, and diet. Each step of a dental visit is explained, and the children can ask questions about what to expect. Each presentation concludes with storytime, during which a short story about visiting the dentist is read to reinforce the messages taught in the presentation.

Supporting Local Causes: Our Donations

Our office supports local causes and community groups. Over the years, we have supported the Schofield Road Race and the Wellesley Spelling Bee.

Volunteering Abroad: Dental Care in India

In June 2026, two of our hygienists joined Dr. Ashley Ciapciak and Dr. Ken Brede on a volunteer trip to an orphanage in Hyderabad, India. During the trip, the dental team treated more than 200 children. All children received a dental cleaning, X-rays, and fluoride varnish, and those who needed it also received necessary restorative treatment.
